Phoenix Litter Update – 5 Weeks Old This Saturday
Phoenix’s puppies are really coming into their own now. At this stage they are playing hard, exploring everything around them, and eating like every meal is their last. This is one of the most fun ages to watch because their personalities really start to show.
Phoenix is also beginning to spend more time outside with the pack and taking longer breaks from the puppies, which is completely normal at this age. As the puppies grow more independent, mom naturally starts easing them toward weaning while still keeping a close eye on them.
The puppies will be 5 weeks old this Saturday, and we are currently finishing up the picking process from the waiting list. We have many excited new owners, and as always, we know there will also be some disappointment simply because we cannot produce every color or gender that everyone hopes for in each litter.
At Bama Huskies, we follow the same process every time because it is the most fair to everyone.
We go down the waiting list in the order deposits were placed, and selections are made when your turn comes up. We don’t control what Mother Nature gives us — we just work with what each litter produces, and that is the only honest way to do it.
Puppies from the Phoenix litter will be ready to start going home March 28, 2026 and after, depending on scheduling.
