Everest Puppies Reach Three Weeks Old

Big Personalities Are Beginning to Shine

There is something special about the three-week milestone.

This is the stage where our Everest puppies begin changing almost daily. Their eyes are fully open, they’re becoming much more aware of the world around them, and we’re starting to see the first glimpses of the unique personalities they’ll carry with them for years to come.

The chocolate girls are becoming little teddy bears with beautiful coats and sweet expressions, while the agouti boys are already showing off the striking markings that make this color so popular. Every puppy is healthy, growing exactly as we’d hope, and continuing to gain weight right on schedule.

Three Weeks Is a Big Step

At three weeks of age, puppies are transitioning from simply eating and sleeping to becoming curious little explorers.

During this stage we begin introducing new experiences in small, positive ways while continuing the gentle daily handling that helps build confidence. Every interaction is designed to make each puppy comfortable with people and prepared for life as a family companion.

Although these little ones still spend most of their time with Mom, they’re beginning to notice their littermates more, test out their tiny legs, and explore the nursery one wobbly step at a time.

Building the Foundation

Every week matters.

Long before a puppy ever leaves for their new home, we’re laying the foundation for the dog they’ll become. That means providing excellent nutrition, maintaining a clean and comfortable nursery, monitoring every puppy closely, and giving each one regular human interaction from an early age.

These early weeks may seem simple, but they’re some of the most important in a puppy’s life.

Husky Jim’s Note

I’ve learned over the years that three-week-old puppies can fool you.

Some of the quiet ones become the confident leaders, and some of the boldest little explorers grow into the gentlest family companions. That’s one reason we encourage families not to choose a puppy based only on color or the first impression from a photo.

The personality that unfolds over the next several weeks tells us far more than a single picture ever can and helping families find the right match has always been one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.

Thank you for following along as these Everest puppies continue to grow. We can’t wait to share what they accomplish over the next few weeks.
