Snow is such a great husky mom. Her husky puppies for sale are 5 weeks old today. They have been getting plenty of love and attention not only from mom but from us as well. They are growing up fast. They will be going to get a final health check at the vets office next week. Each puppy will be issued a health paper. This should give all our customers the confidence in knowing they are going to be picking up a health puppy to add to their family. We do everything we possibly can to make sure of that and it starts with breeding great healthy dogs. Then genetics and diet also play a role in health. Wanted to give you an update on a few items for your puppy.
- We use NuVet vitamins– you can buy them here or online. We have information about them in your home folder that you will receive when you pick up your puppy. You do have to have a code to order the vitamins and it is 604651.
- We use MaxiFlora probiotic and Prebiotics chews. You have information on them in your home folder. You can order them at maxi-vet.com with the code BAMA.
- Food-we use Royal Canin medium Puppy-we will send a sample packet of it if you are wanting to change their food. You will have to mix ours with the brand that you are wanting to use until ours is gone. Otherwise, please pick up some beforehand. I’m sending you a different email with a 20% coupon off if you email us and request it.
- Feed them about ½ cup twice daily. Increase with time and age. Treats- we use Nudges. They are all American made. You can find them at Wal-mart.
- Tartar Control—Premium Pet Dental Spray or Pet Labs Co. You can find both at Amazon.
- Shampoo-we use the NuVet shampoo. It rinses clean and smells good. Don’t over bathe your puppy. I know they get dirty quickly. You can use baby wipes on the feet too.
- Puppies chew a lot. We recommend Nylabone for chewing. They are safe. Puppy’s baby teeth fall out around the 14 week
- Flea, Tick, Heartworm preventative-your veterinarian will recommend this for you. We like Bravecto for fleas and ticks and Tri-Heart Plus for heartworm prevention.
- Potty training-you can puppy pad train them or if you have the time take them outside when they wake up, after they eat, and every few hours in between.
- Vaccines-I provide the 5 in 1 vaccine at 6 weeks. They will need vaccines from your veterinarian every 2-3 weeks until they reach 16 weeks of age. This is a MUST. After they are fully vaccinated, they can go places and take on the world.
- Puppies can be stubborn, but consistency works.
- We will take cash or a debit/credit card at pick up. But using a credit card there will be an added processing fee of 4%.
Do you want your puppy Microchipped? It’s $30.00 for us to administer to them and then to register the chip with AKC reunite it’s $19.50. It does show proof of ownership if lost or stolen.
