Our husky puppies had fun keeping cool today with a husky puppy swim party. Not everyone was invited because of safety concerns. Big huskies tend to step on and splash puppies to much during a swim party. They did have one separate from the little ones. Amber was the only adult husky at the puppy pool party. She is gentle with the puppies. We start training our puppies as soon as possible to swim and learn how to exit the pool. Having a pool can be a lot of fun for your dog but they have to be trained on how to get out for safety. A lot of dogs drown each year in back yard pools because they accidentally fall in and have no idea on how to get out of the pool. Here are the pics of the husky pool party.
Bella doesn’t like the big pool too much but she does love to play in the kiddy pool with the puppies. We have a room set up for all the puppies to play and have fun inside the kennels when the adult huskies are out at the pool. This way they don’t feel left out and have hours of fun running and playing around the kiddy pool.
