Been busy this week building a new husky dog home in the lower area of our kennel. I call it a dog home because it’s not just a thrown together square box. As a matter of fact nothing about it is square lol. I originally built a shed for them to lay under when it was raining so they could look out over the pond. They already have one big shed at the top of the kennel. So I didn’t have it completely square and that made converting it unto a dog home a big headache. Any way I got it done and Nick seems to approve. He has been enjoying the front porch. Since they love laying around on our back porch, I figured they would like one of their own when they are in the kennel.

I am not sure what he was looking at in this pic, may have been a wasp buzzing about.
I even added a doggie door. Our boxer knows how to work the door and one of our female huskies goes in and out after just showing her one time how it works. Nick is kind of scared of it but that was no surprise as this big sissy is scared of everything lol. He is afraid of bees, frogs and Halloween costumes. He wasn’t into ghosts anyway.
I built the doggie door myself. I was just going to buy one but to get one that was chew proof was ridiculously priced. All I found was 250.00 prices and up. I could get one for 59.95 but they would chew them up so I decided not to waste the money and just make it myself. If they do happen to chew this one I will cut out a new one for less than a dollar. I have to thank my wonderful wife since she decided I was going to make it a home and add a nice porch and stain it all. Thanks sweety! Happy Halloween everyone!
