Valentines Day is just around the corner. Giving your sweetie some sweets is common but you should make sure your husky doesn’t end up in the candy. Chocolate in any form is toxic to your husky. Milk chocolate being the milder and dark chocolate being the most toxic. I know most people realize the danger but some times the chocolate gets set down where your dog can access it. Your dog loves chocolate just as much as you do and he will eat all of it he can get. The more he eats the worst the danger.
A little chocolate won’t usually hurt a big dog but can make a small dog seriously ill or even kill it. If the big dog eats enough chocolate he too could die. Here is a handy chocolate toxicity meter to help you determine the toxicity levels that your dog may have from consuming chocolate. Hopefully you won’t need to use this chart this Valentines day. Keep the sweets high on a shelf away from your dog for safety.
We have husky puppies for sale in Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia and Mississippi.
