When people fall in love with the husky breed it is usually because of those pretty blue eyes that huskies are so well known for. If you do a Google image search you will see many pictures of huskies with blue eyes. A lot of our pictures show up as well. A lot of customers that call us also request a puppy with blue eyes. I get it, they are pretty but there is so much more to a husky than just blue eyes.
The second feature people want is the specific colors. Black and white or grey and white Siberian huskies are requested most often. Our black and white huskies look similar to panda bears while our grey and white look like wolves. A wolf looking dog with blue eyes is a remarkable looking dog. When we started breeding huskies that was the look I liked the best myself so we worked to breed and get those features.
We have an upcoming dame named Bella. She is a red and white Siberian husky with beautiful blue eyes. She will have some top quality puppies some time later on this year. Even for a red husky she has that wolfish look to her. Just remember you should pick out puppies based on looks and personality. We breed our dogs for quality and temperament with eye color not being a factor we care about. Eye color won’t make a dog a good pet while personality is what makes you fall in love with them.
