Ice’s puppies are two weeks old today. All nine are doing great, and they’ve given us a little surprise.
We started out with what looked like five white puppies. Well, those five are turning out to be red and whites. They were keeping a little color hidden on us!
Take a close look at male #1, and you can already see his mask coming in. The other four have those same markings starting to show, too. They’re faint right now, but they’re there.
So, for our families on the list hoping for a white puppy, I wanted to let you know we won’t have a solid white one in Ice’s litter. I know that may be disappointing if that’s what you’ve been waiting for, but we wanted to tell you as soon as those markings became clear.
They’ve still got plenty of growing to do, and I’m looking forward to watching those little faces develop over the next few weeks.
